In this WoW Tailoring Guide you will learn about the fastest and cheapest way to get your tailoring to 525.

Tailoring can be quite expensive to level as cloth prices, being your main resource, can vary quite a lot but tend to be on the higher end of the spectrum. If you're able to disenchant the items you create with this profession you will be able to recoup some of your investments though.

If you're really low on money you could always go out and grind the cloth yourself, especially the lower tiers should go really quick.This however assumes that you're a high level to make this go quick and smooth.
