Using your stealth to enter group instances allows you to peek around looking for chests. Because of this there are always people looking for rogues to open their lockboxes. If you’re just standing around in town you might as well advertise that you’re opening lockboxes for a small tip and before you know it you’re making even more gold. This does take a slight investment in time as leveling lock picking just by opening lock boxes will take a long time. As such you’ll probably have to level your lock picking through alternative measures. The best one would be to find the areas around the world which have a lot of lockboxes with junk in them and keep opening them until you can move on to the next area. Another option would be to open locked doors to get levels, the problem with this is that you can only get one skill up every 10 minutes or so making it rather inefficient.

4. Boosting in Arena

If you’re a decent rogue with good gear you’ll easily be able to boost most players to 1800 giving them the ability to buy the weapons. Even though this is easier if your partner is also a decent player, preferably a healer, anything will work if you’re a well geared rogue that is good at Player versus Player combat. You will be surprised with how much gold people are willing to pay for even the smallest boosts.

I can’t stress this enough though, if you’re under geared or not a good arena player do yourself and everybody else a favor and don’t waste their and your time.
